Roger is a Member and the Chairman as well as the Director of Research of Zebra Capital Management, LLC. He is part of the Zebra Capital portfolio management team having served in this role since the firm was founded in 2001. He is also a Professor in the Practice Emeritus of Finance at Yale School of Management.
Roger was formerly Chairman of Ibbotson Associates and Ibbotson Associates Advisors, LLC until both were acquired by Morningstar Inc. in March 2006. Ibbotson Associates Advisors, LLC was a registered investment adviser and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ibbotson Associates, a company he founded in 1977 and a leading provider of asset allocation research and services.
During his professional career, Roger has combined his extensive research with the implementation of his findings creating investment long-only, absolute return, and Premia strategies. He is the forerunner of the Popularity metric that is embedded in all the strategies managed by Zebra Capital.
Roger has also been awarded prestigious prizes such as several Graham & Dodd Awards, the Harry M. Markowitz Award, or the Best Paper in the Journal of Investment Management.
John J. Holmgren, Jr.
Chairman and Co-Founder
John J. Holmgren, Jr. co-founded GHI Global Advisory Partners. He is the Chairman of the Board and is also responsible for the long-term strategy of the firm.

John is a Member and the President, CIO and COO at Zebra Capital Management, LLC. He joined the firm in 2011 and is currently responsible for the development, management and implementation of Zebra Capital’s business and strategies.
Prior to Zebra, he established Holmgren Capital Management LLC, a global investment management and research firm specializing in bottom-up quantitative investment models in the global equity universe. Previously, John founded DSI International Management and DSC Data Services Inc, quantitative management strategy research companies that were integrated into UBS AG in the late 1990s. He managed DSI’s various investment programs and was responsible for integrating DSI within the UBS business organization. He also chaired the risk and investment committees of the corresponding areas at UBS AM and O’Connor.
John has a B.A. in Economics from Providence College and is a member of the NYSSA, CQA and CFAI and sits on the boards of several charities.
Lorenzo Goldberg

Lorenzo Goldberg co-founded GHI Global Advisory Partners. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm.

Previously, Lorenzo was Managing Director EMEA for Zebra Capital. He combined his role for Zebra with Kepler Partners’ Appointed Representative status, promoting the Kepler Liquid Strategies (KLS) to French-speaking countries and Southern Europe.
Prior to that, Lorenzo was CEO of The Corporate Finance Boutique (a fund-raising firm specialized in growth projects) and Partner at AlphaOne Partners (a UHNWI advisory firm). Lorenzo worked for almost 9 years at Russell Investments in Madrid, Paris and at its EMEA headquarters in London as Managing Director for the region in the area of strategic alliances and distribution to institutional investors. From 1995 until 2000, Lorenzo led Banco Santander’s proprietary trading team, operating in the fixed income, equity indices, volatility and foreign exchange markets. Prior to his role at Banco Santander, he held posts at Credit Lyonnais and Banco Santander de Negocios.
Lorenzo has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from ESADE and the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona and a Master of Business Administration and Management Degree from ESADE.

Previously, Ana was Investor Relationship Manager for Zebra Capital in the EMEA region as well as Sales Support to Kepler Partners´ Appointed Representative for the French-speaking countries and Southern Europe promoting the Kepler Liquid Strategies (KLS). Before becoming Investor Relationship Manager for Zebra Capital, Ana worked for Aviva investors in the Structured Solutions team where she helped develop solutions across different underlying asset classes for the UK, Europe and Asia. She also worked for Bear Stearns International as an Associate Director in the Structured Equity Products department, promoting and delivering solutions to retail and private banks in Spain and Portugal. Prior to that Ana worked at Mizuho International in the Fixed Income and Derivatives Department and at the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks (CECA) in London.
Ana has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from ESADE and the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona and a Master of Business Administration and Management Degree from ESADE. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
